All too often people are looking for an excuse, a reason to blame or to look for a set of external circumstances to justify why things didn’t work. The reality is when you own up that you didn’t plan, prepare or put in 100%, you can do something about it. You have the right state of mind to move forward.
How many people do you know that are still tied to the past because they have not being willing to own up and take some or all responsibility for what happened to them? Whether that is a past relationship, a past business deal, a sales result, a goal not achieved or something that happened in a family unit. If you let go of the government, the economy, the dollar, your past boss or your ex partner as the reason, only then will you move forward.
I get that the easy road is to play the victim, however the enlightened road is where you take a degree of responsibility.
So here is the real question: what is not working in your life at the moment?
Now take responsibility by for it and focus on the next step which is to move from blame to achievement!
