Like always, you get the question, “Can you tell us a bit more about yourself?” So let me give you the snapshot. You already know that I’ve been a professional speaker for the last 30 years, spoken to 1.7 million people in 43 different countries, written six best-selling books, published in 12 different languages. That’s Keith, the professional speaker. I grew up on the muddy banks of the Cooma River down the Gold Coast. I grew up on a farm. My mom and dad and I didn’t talk about goals. We talked about trucks and tractors and horses and cattle. I had a pretty humble beginning. I started my working life as a bricklayer and knew that that was a bit too hard at work. Got an opportunity to go to a leadership program, which totally changed my life and changed my perspective when I wasn’t a leader. I’m married to Christine. We’ve been married now for 33 years. We have been in business for 30 years together. We’ve worked side by side for 30 years. We have two daughters, and both beautiful young ladies, and exceptionally proud of them. I live on the Sunshine Coast. I’ve got a Labradoodle called Tayo, who’s such a character that he makes us laugh every day. And I suppose why I got into professional speaking is, and I know this sounds a little clichéd, is I wanted to make a difference. I just saw the difference goal-setting made in my life, and I wanted to share that. And I started presenting for free and did that for ages and did a day job and all of a sudden it’s, why don’t I turn my passion into my profession? And that happened 30 years ago. And so I’m exceptionally grateful that I’ve got clients all over the world who believe enough in me that they want to keep on engaging me to come along and make a difference to their people’s lives. And for that, I’m truly grateful. So that’s my background. I’m a bit of a cricket tragic. I love that sport. But I also love space and time to do what I love to do the most, which is make a difference, write books, do these videos, and stand up in front of audiences and share my ideas, insights, and a little bit of inspiration to make a difference in their lives and to the businesses they’re part of. Thanks for watching, and I appreciate the question.
So, why am I so passionate about goals? It’s a good question. Forty-plus years ago, I got introduced to this funky concept called goal setting. I was 24 years of age. That gives my age away a little bit, doesn’t it? I was 24 years of age. I had absolutely no direction in my life, and a guy stood up and talked about the 100 things that you should write, 100 things you want to do in your lifetime. And I got to tell you, they gave us 90 minutes to write down 100 goals, and I wrote down… It was the longest 90 minutes of my life. I wrote down six, and I thought, “Geez, life’s going to be short.” The seventh thing I wrote down was, “Finish this list.” I’m on my ninth list, and I’ve been teaching that concept to people ever since and had some profound impact. And I suppose I’m passionate about goals because it’s had a big impact on my life. But everybody I talk to that goes through my goal achievement process, not just goal setting, anybody can set a goal, but you want to achieve your goal. I have researched over the last 30 years how people can achieve their goals faster, easier, and sooner. I have researched on what drives people and what slows them down and where the friction points are. I’m just passionate about it because it’s had such a profound impact on my life. And every audience I stand up, I get feedback from people. “I saw you 10 years ago, Keith, and this is what I’ve achieved.” “I saw you two years ago, and this is what I’ve achieved.” “And I still carry my list around.” And that, I got to tell you, floats my boat. It energizes, enthuses, and engages me. And so that’s why I’m passionate about it, because I see that it makes a difference in people’s life. Because I just agree, believe you got to lead yourself first before you lead others, before you lead your business, before you lead your customers, before you lead your marketplace. But it starts with you. I think we all know people that are excellent at their job, but they’re terrible at their life. And I just think my mission, my quest is to help people remember who they were always meant to be and show them a pathway on how they can achieve what’s important, what matters, and what’s going to make a difference. That’s why I’m passionate about it. Thanks very much for watching. Bye now.
I’m often asked the question, what makes me different than another keynote professional speaker? And we’re all different from a delivery style or content style. But what sets me apart is I’ve got 30 years experience. It’s not one year’s experience repeated 30 times. It’s 30 years of experience. There is nothing that can happen at a conference, I know this is a bold statement, that I haven’t experienced before. I’ve had someone have a heart attack in the front row, and I dealt with that. I’ve had somebody pass away recently before the event that was a big figure in that organization, and we dealt with that. I’ve had the CEO stand up and sack 20% of the audience before he invited me to come and talk and motivate the rest of them. There’s nothing that hasn’t happened. I’ve had power blackouts during a presentation. I’ve flown halfway around the world for a conference organizer say, “Listen, we’ve had people go over time, so your 60 minutes is now down to 20. What can you do for us?” So there’s nothing that you could probably throw at me that I haven’t seen before. So that’s experience. But what sets me apart is I’m a really interactive speaker. I’m not 100% full on motivational. I think there’s a place for those speakers, and a lot of them are good friends of mine, where they inspire people and people are so fired up and jacked up and revved up. I want to make sure people go away and implement. I want to make sure people are inspired enough to take the first step to do what’s important, what matters, and what’s going to make a difference to them, so they can become the best version of themselves, not the second-best version of somebody else. So if you’re looking for a speaker that’s interactive, that people will walk away with a rock-solid plan, that’ll be suitably inspired to take action, and that will turn their ideas and information into insights that are 100% implementable, then I’m the guy for you. Thanks very much for watching. Bye now.
So a question often is, what is my speaking style? So I like to describe my speaking style around three promises. I want to make sure I provide insights to your people. I want to make sure that we give them a little bit of inspiration so they can take those insights and implement them. So really, it’s about insights, inspiration, and implementation. I’m a highly interactive speaker. I’m not someone they’re just going to listen to and let the information wash over their body. I’m going to get them to take notes. I’m going to get them to talk to the person they’re sitting in front of or behind or alongside. I’m going to get them to share with me. I’m going to get off the stage and interact with your audience. So your audience will be involved. It’ll be interactive. And more importantly, they’ll be able to take away insights that they can implement because they’re inspired to do so. So that’s my style of presenting.
It’s been a big year already this year with the launching of this book, “Unstoppable Velocity.” In actual fact, my three keynote presentations are built around this book. “Unstoppable Velocity” is for the individual, getting them crystal clear on their personal and professional goals, how to achieve those goals faster, easier, sooner. “Unstoppable Leaders” is around how the leader can become the best version of them, and to be that forward-facing, future-focused leader that you need them to be to achieve the goals, not only just this year, but in the future. And the third, which comes out of this book, is called “Unstoppable Growth.” You and I both know that if you want to grow any business, you have to master three things: how to save money, how to make money, how to help people become more productive. And so the catalyst that this book does for those three keynotes is it gives people ideas, information, implementation strategy, inspiration to be able to go away and implement. Because if we can get people to achieve, to take action, and to become accountable, then they accelerate their success. Thanks for watching.
I have three keynote presentations. One is called Unstoppable Velocity. This is for the individual to help them set and achieve their goals faster, easier, sooner. It’s based around three key components: accelerate, abundance, and alignment. We want to make sure that they not are just in the hustle all the time, but they remove the friction points so they can accelerate towards what they want and move away from what they don’t want. Why do I talk about abundance? Because often people get so fixated on a goal that they actually don’t know what’s on the other side of that goal. And my belief is, my definition of abundance is, on the other side of every goal is abundance. It’s something you want more of, whether it be physically or emotionally or mentally. What do you want more of? And the last piece is around alignment. And alignment is very much around having a mono focus. So in other words, starving your distractions and feeding your focus. It is about having micro wins. People form habits, habits form futures. And the third is about making sure that people have a momentum mindset. Often people say, “I just need to be positive.” Well, be positive, that sounds like a blood type to me. This is about picking the mindset you need to be able to accomplish the goals that you desire and you deserve. So that’s Unstoppable Velocity.
My other keynote presentation is called Unstoppable Business Growth. It’s ideal for sales professionals, forward-facing service people, and even people in operations, and here’s the reason why. I believe you need to master three key elements in business; how to save money, how to make money, and how to help people become more productive. So this session is focused on three key messages. Momentum mindset. This is a mindset around picking your growth mindset, getting really crystal clear on the mindset you need to achieve the growth goals you desire. The second is mono-focus. If you’re going to have mono-focus, you need to have a big, bold goal. So we get really clear on what the big, bold goal is. And the third is around having micro-wins. You and I both know that successful people who achieve their goals have got great habits because people create habits, and habits form futures. This is a highly interactive session where people walk away with a rock-solid plan on what they’re going to do in the first hour, the first day, the first week, and the first month to move them towards what their goal is and move them away from what they don’t want. In actual fact, I get them to do something in the first minute, right in the conference session, because the hardest step always is taking the first step. Thanks for watching. Bye now.
One of my other presentations is called “Unstoppable Leaders.” Speed of the business is speed of its leaders. If the leaders aren’t changing, evolving, adapting, and modifying what they need to do, not just for now but for the future, they get left behind. So this presentation is about three key components. About capacity, collaboration, and connection. So we look at capacity. We look at the leader and start to talk to them about what they need to do to enhance their capacity to be the leader for the future, to be a forward-facing, future-focused leader. This is about authenticity because the currency of credibility right now is authenticity. The more we have artificial intelligence over here, the more your leaders need to be authentic to build the connection with their teams, with their clients, with the marketplace. And then we talk about collaboration because the competitive advantage for organizations is that the more they become collaborative with one another, the more they understand that the next department is not their enemy, not their competitor. The more they can collaborate, the more they accelerate. And the final is about connection. You see, when you start to connect better with people, you start to capitalize on those opportunities. And when you start to capitalize, you not only accelerate your business and your impact, but you amplify the frequency of your business. All of a sudden, your people become more engaged, enthused, and energized because they are not doing something because you’ve communicated it to them. They’re doing it because you have a greater connection to them. And so that is “Unstoppable Leaders.” Great presentation, highly interactive, and your leaders walk away with a rock-solid action plan to be better, do better, and achieve better results.
So I’m often asked, what’s the difference between a keynote presentation and a master class or a workshop? So for me, a keynote for me can be 45, 60, or 90 minutes or anything in between. I’m really interactive, so I want to make sure people talk to the person they’re sitting alongside, interact with me, take notes, walk away with a plan on what to do in the first minute, the first hour, the first day, the first week, the first month, when they get back to work. So that’s what I do in a keynote. Now, in a breakout session, it’s a lot more interactive, and it tends to be a lot more strategic, and we allow more time for people to interact with one another, learn from one another, but also make sure that we dig deeper into a subject. So in essence, it’s probably not as wide, but it’s a lot deeper in that subject. Just so they have a really rock-solid plan, they really know what they’re working on, and more importantly, they connect with the subject at a deeper, more meaningful level. So that’s the difference between– They’re both interactive, but think about it like this. The keynote is wider, the workshop is deeper, and that’s the best way I can describe it. Thanks very much for watching. Bye now.
So here are some trends I’m noticing, and this is where my presentation around unstoppable velocity and how people can achieve their goals faster, easier, and sooner works. Most likely, you have been to a conference in the last 18 months where there’s been an AI speaker, and I’m not an AI expert, but one thing I do know is that the real competitive advantage for organizations in today’s marketplace is AI plus AI. What do I mean by that? Artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence is going to do three things, help you save money, make money, help your people become more productive. What’s the other AI? Authentic individuals. Authentic individuals. Authenticity in an artificial intelligence world, authenticity is the currency of credibility, and so when your people can become more authentic, authentic in how they turn up, authentic in how they deal with their team, deal with your clients. When people are more authentic, and that’s built around direction, speed, focus. It’s built around bringing their experience and their intuition to the table, and it’s also bringing the ability to collaborate and connect with people better. I still believe people want to do business with people they know, like, and trust. They want to do their research online. They want to use AI to do some of their back-end processes, but they also want to do business with people they know, like, and trust when they make large purchasing decisions. So that’s the trend I’m seeing out in the marketplace. So where do I fit in? The more I can help your people become authentic, their true authentic selves, because they’re pursuing what’s important, what matters, and what’s going to make a difference, they turn up to your work a whole lot differently. Because when they can lead themselves, they can lead others. When they can lead others, they lead your business, and when they can lead your business, they lead the marketplace. Thanks very much for watching.
Do I have experience in your industry? I’ve now worked in 36 different industries across 34 different countries. So I most likely have an idea of your industry. But I’m a fast learner, and if I don’t know your industry that well, I’ll interview not only you, but some of your key people that are going to be at the conference, some of your best of the best, to find out what they do and how they do it. And I just have a great ear for language, as in understand the language of your business, and often described by people saying, “Wow, you really know our business really well.” But in essence, I’ve been given a great brief, which I can then turn into how it applies to that particular audience. So test me out. Give me the opportunity to work with you, and I’ll always be upfront with you and say, “Yeah, I know your industry really well. I’ve had multiple events in there.” Or, “You know what? I’ve never done anything in this industry. Let me take some time to understand your industry better and get a good feel for it.” I’m always looking to learn. Thanks very much.
I was asked the question, why do people get me back time and time again? Why do audiences love my presentations? And I suppose it’s because I’m authentic, I’m genuine. What you see is what you get. What you get on stage is what you get at the back of the room. I grew up on a farm, pretty humble background, and I’m truly grateful every time I get the opportunity to present, because I’ve been fortunate enough to have turned my passion, helping people set and achieve goals, into my profession. So that comes through. I’m also spontaneously humorous. I’m not a comedian, but I do make fun of myself, and people see the authenticity around that. And I’m also one of those people that just don’t want to tolerate or accept BS, so I just stay right away from that. And once again, as I said, what you see is what you get. And to have that opportunity, have that privilege of connecting with people and letting people share their stories with me as I share my stories with them, people love that, and I love that. There’s not a presentation that I don’t stand up that I learn something new from the audience, from the journey that I’ve had in getting there. Sometimes even something I’ve said that I’m going, “Jeez, that’s a great idea. Where did that come from?” So I suppose that’s why audiences love to have me at their events, because I’m real and I’m authentic, and what you get is real and authentic. And in a world that we live in now, authenticity is the currency of credibility. Thanks for watching. Bye now.
So what are the types of results I get from my keynote presentations? Well, you’ll find on this website, go and search case studies. I’ve written three case studies of clients that I’ve worked with recently, and the impact I’ve had in their organization, and why they’ve rebooked me. You see, I believe the measure of any great presenter is two things: Does the client return, and do they recommend? So let me share with you some quick statistics. 96% of my clients have used me twice. 64% of my clients have used me at least six times. And 31% of my clients have used me every year for 10 years consecutive or more. A couple of my clients have used me 24, 25 years in a row. And here’s the reason why. I believe that if you’re going to become a presenter that the client wants to get you back and refer you to their colleagues or clients, you have to add unprecedented value. It has to be more than just a presentation. Have a read of the case studies, and have a read of some of the testimonials, and you’ll understand why my clients have gotten me back time and time again over the last 30 years. Thanks for watching. Bye now.
So what type of impact do I have on organizations? Well, let me share a quick story with you. I stayed in touch with a client for 16 years before they said yes. Now, when I first met them, I connected with them, and I just stayed in touch with them, and they said, “Oh, look, Keith, you’re probably not the right fit this year. No, your topic’s not… We’re going in a different direction. No, we’re using somebody externally. No, we’re using somebody from overseas. No, we’re using somebody internally.” And I always asked the question, “Can I stay in touch with you?” So they never told me to get lost. They just said, “No, not this time.” And so tenacity wins every race, so I stayed in touch with them for 16 years. On the 16th year, they contacted me, and they said, “Keith, would you be available on this date to speak to 1,500 people in Brisbane?” I said, looked up a calendar, “Yeah, sure, I can do that.” That was 10 years ago, and this year, I’ve just completed my 55th conference with them globally. I’ve spoken all over the world. They licensed some of my content. They bought my books. They’ve had them translated into different languages for their audiences in Europe. And so I suppose what’s the measure of any great speaker? Does the client return, and do they recommend? And I’m just grateful I didn’t give up on the 10th year or the 14th year. And so I think the real impact is that if a client loves you that much, they want to keep on getting you back. They don’t love you just because of your personality. They love you because you add unprecedented value. I’ve gotten to know that industry and that business exceptionally well. On these days, they reach out to me to say, “Hey, listen, we’ve got a conference coming up. We think you’d be the great fit.” So I think that’s a good definition of impact. Thanks for watching.
So what’s my goal for your audience? Really simple. It’s to provide them with ideas, insights, and inspiration, so they go away and implement. You see, your people know your business really well, so they have the information. But we want to take information and turn it into wisdom, and that’s the insights. And with insights, we give them the inspiration to take the first step towards implementation. The one thing I know is that if we can get people to change. Now, change is getting them to take that first step. Because if they take the first step, they’re more inclined to take the next and the next and the next. And if we can get them to take two or three steps, then they start to evolve. If they take five or six or ten steps, they start to transform. But it all starts with them making a decision, them being suitably motivated, engaged to take and make a decision to take the first step. So that’s why, for me, it’s really important for them to just understand that the first step is easy. Thanks for watching. Bye now.
Here’s a leadership trend that I’m noticing. With the introduction of AI, there’s sort of nothing that we can’t do. But you know what AI struggles to do a little bit? Is get people to collaborate with one another. The mental muscle that your people have, the experience, the intuition that your people have, is only as valuable as how well they connect and collaborate with one another. In actual fact, connection and collaboration is the competitive advantage of leaders, because the people who do that well accelerate. Underpin that with artificial intelligence, and you have an absolutely unique competitive advantage that is exceptionally hard to duplicate. Because if you think of it, AI is going to be a commodity that helps you create, accelerate your competitive advantage. But your people, leaders that are authentic, that can connect and collaborate with one another, rather than look at somebody inside their business as a competitor or the enemy. When we can break that barrier down, you can truly accelerate your business to the next level. That’s a trend that I’m seeing.
So what size audiences do I work with? Well, I have traveled around the world to speak with 11 people. I got invited to speak to the CEOs of this particular organization. There were 11 CEOs in the room. They all ran billion-dollar businesses, and it was in Mexico City, and I did a two-hour workshop with those leaders, icons, in actual fact, in their industry. So I’ve worked with small groups. I’ve worked with mid-size groups. I’ve worked with large groups. The largest group I’ve ever spoken in front of has been 10,000 people, and I did that. I’ve done that twice now. It’s not unusual for me to speak to 1,000 or 1,500 people, and it’s not unusual for me to speak to 50 or 100 people and everything in between. My style of presentation and how much I interact changes in regards to the size of the audience. But even in large audiences, I still get people to interact with one another because people learn best from each other. People love to talk to one another about what’s important, what matters, and what’s making a difference to them in their businesses. So, the smallest group I’ve ever spoken to has been six, and the largest group has been 10,000, and everything in between over the last 30 years. Thanks for watching.
So how far in advance should you book me? Well, the more lead time, the better to guarantee that I’ll be at your event. I’m working with some clients now that are about 14, 15 months in advance. But I also got contacted yesterday for a conference where a speaker couldn’t make it, and they have to fill a spot, and it’s two weeks in advance. And I just happened to be available. The best way to find my availability is to contact me, and by that way, we can look at the schedule and say, “I can make this work,” or, “I can’t make this work.” And what I can guarantee you, if I can’t make it work, I’ll recommend someone who I know, trust, and believe will deliver a great result for you, just so you don’t have to keep on running all over town looking for the most appropriate speaker. But the more lead time, the better, because that way we can do the research. We can prepare everything. We can make sure that we have done some promotional work for your event so your people are suitably engaged, enthused, and energized to turn up. Thanks very much for watching. Bye now
Sometimes people ask me, do I speak overseas? Yeah, I’m based on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, but I speak all over the world. In actual fact, to this moment, I’ve spoken in 43 different countries to 1.7 million people, and I’ve done that over the last 30 years. I’ve spoken with translators. I’ve spoken with multiple translators in the room. So I’m really attuned to how to get a message across when maybe the audience, their first language is not English. So, I have learned along the way on how best to work with translators so that they are fully ready and equipped to be able to deliver the best translation to the audience members. But in short, I’ve spoken, as I said, in 43 different countries, so I definitely speak overseas. Thanks very much for watching. Bye now.
Do I work with event organizers? Absolutely. I’ve worked with many professional conference organizers over the last 30 years. And we’ve got processes and systems that just makes their life easier. From whether it be the introduction or list of my AV or what needs to happen in regards to accommodation, travel. We are seamless of how we work with people. My one goal always is to be the easiest person to deal with. And so we definitely work with event organizers, and we know what their needs and requirements are so that they can do what you pay them to do, and that’s to be able to organize an event that wow and amazes the people who are attending. So, absolutely we know how to work with event organizers and love the opportunity to do that. Thanks for watching.
So what happens during the briefing call? I will set up a virtual meeting with you and ask you a series of questions around not only your event, not only the theme, not only the outcomes and objectives, but also about your group and where your business is at, and what are the underlying challenges in your business, and where are the greatest opportunities in your business? What’s the long-term vision as well? Because I want everything to align. Because alignment of message with objectives is absolutely critical, whether it be delivering a world-class keynote presentation or making sure your people are equipped for the challenge and the opportunities ahead in the next year, two, or even five years down the track. So during the briefing call, I’ll take notes. I’ll actually have it transcribed, and I’ll also gain a good understanding of what is happening in your industry, not just in your business. So the briefing call is really critical for me to be able to deliver the best presentation on the day that meets your exact needs. It normally takes about half an hour to 45 minutes, and then I’ll do some additional research either prior to our call or after our call to make sure that we’ve got everything in alignment. And if need be, I’ll even ask for a couple of people who are going to be in the event for me to chat with, because it’s always good to get a feeling for the group before you get in front of the group. Thanks for watching. Bye now.
One of the questions my clients ask me is, do I customize my content? And the answer simply is 100% yes. Absolutely, I do. You see, I take a brief from you, and rather than rolling out the same presentation 100 times a year and you fitting to the speaker’s content, I will work with you to create the right message that lines up with the goals of the session, which lines up with the objectives of the conference. Now, I won’t talk about something that’s not in my wheelhouse, but I will take content. And often my clients say, “Hey, Keith, I love that little bit of content around unstoppable velocity, and I love the piece around unstoppable leaders, and can you put in there something around unstoppable growth?” So I’ll take a little bit of content out of my three key keynotes and create a presentation just for you. And that’s all achieved through the briefing session that I have with you and to really get crystal clear on what you’re trying to achieve. And more importantly, what you want your people to walk away with and start to implement. So to answer the question about customization, 100%. We line it up with your theme, with your goals, and with your objectives. Thanks for watching. Bye now.
So there’s three key elements to any keynote presentation, I believe. Before, during, and after. Let’s talk about before. So before I ever walk on stage, there’s a few things that I’ve done to set myself up. I’ve taken a full briefing from you. I’ve spoken to some of your key members that are going to be in the audience, just to make sure I’m across your whole industry and any challenges or opportunities you’re currently facing. I’ll do a pre-video to energize, enthuse people to come along to you all and turn up to your event. I’ll also turn up on time. I’ll take the time to build a suitable handout so your people have got something to walk away with. And I’ll also make sure I make sure that I’m available for your AV team to talk about any logistics. I’ll provide you with an introduction to your MC, and I’ll provide you with any other assets that you need to be able to put into your program agenda. I’ll do all of that, and I’ll make sure I’m there an hour early at the least, if not before then, to get a feel for the group and to make sure that I’m ready to rock and roll when my allocated time to stand up and present is. So that’s what I do before every presentation. Thanks so much for watching.
My tech requirements are really easy. I need a wireless microphone. I bring my own headset, so I just need the belt pack. I always have slides, so I’ll make sure that I run my computer, which is a full show computer. It doesn’t turn off. No notifications come on it. And obviously, I need a data projector. And for me, on stage, I just need a little bit of water, and that’s it. It’s pretty simple. But what we’ve done is we’ve created a whole list of our AV requirements, and we’ve put that down in a document, and we send that to your professional conference organizer. We send that through to your AV team. We provide you with photos, we provide you with bio, long, short-form bios, and we provide the introduction to the emcee. So all of that is nice and simple. But tech-wise, I bring my own computer, just need a microphone, just need a screen and a data projector. And if I’m doing a breakout session, I may require a flip chart and some pens. That’s it.
So what happens on the day? Well, I like to get to a conference early. In actual fact, I like to get there the night before. Why? Because I don’t have to have any travel hassles. I want to be there nice and relaxed and ready to rock and roll for your group. But on the day, what I’ll do is I’ll do my AV check early, even if it’s before the conference even starts, even though I might be speaking after lunch, because if there’s anything that’s not working, time is your best friend. But I’ll get to that session, and I like to sit in the audience for a little bit. I like to get a feel for the group and listen to the previous speakers, and so I can weave in their messages to what I’m talking about. So that’s what happens on the day. I’ll stand up. I will give a specific introduction for your MC to read, just so it’s all nice and seamless. I’ll speak to time, and I’m flexible enough to say, if you are running 15 minutes over or 10 minutes over or five minutes over and you want to get back on track, I’m happy to cut some information out of my content so it gets you back on track. But I’ll stick to time, and then I will step off the stage, make sure I pack up all my gear, talk to anybody I need to, hang around if the opportunity prevails, and talk to people and get some feedback. And I’ll also share with you any feedback, all my observations that I have of being with your group and having those side conversations. That’s what happens on the day for me, and it’s nice and seamless and effortless, and my goal always is to be the easiest professional speaker that you’ve ever worked with. Thanks for watching.
People say, what type of takeaway ideas? In actual fact, it’s more than a takeaway idea. I get them to fill out a specific workbook during my presentation. Even if it’s a 60-minute, 45-minute, or 90-minute keynote, I get them to fill in this workbook because what’s in the workbook are some frameworks, models, and some ideas that they can not just only take away and think about, but implement. But also to make it shareable with their team. So every person, every time I stand up and do a presentation, we either do this digitally or we actually print it out for people, put your logo there, take the information. Each one of these is customized, so it’s not something stock standard. It’s customized because every brief I take helps me to create a customized, specific presentation for you and your people to meet your exact needs. So I’m just a great believer that I want to get them to roll their sleeves up and implement. Thanks very much for watching. Bye now.
I believe there’s three key elements to me presenting. What I do before, during, and after. Let’s talk about what I do after. You see, for most people, they’ll walk off stage and chat with a few people and then pack up their bag and they’re out of there. I just think the message needs to live on. So here’s what I’ll do after a presentation. I will hang around and answer any questions, talk to people. I’ll then make sure that about a week later, I provide you with any feedback I’ve received or any of my observations of your group, if you’d like that. I’ll also do a post video for you, in essence, so you can share it with your team as a reminder of what I talked about and what they should be implementing. I’ll also then, for the next 12 months, give myself access to your people. So if they want to contact me to ask a question, to bounce an idea around, I’m happy to do that. So there’s a few things that I do post-presentation just to add more value and to make sure the message lives on after I have gone from your event.
I’m often asked the question, “Can we record your session?” Absolutely. I’m happy for you to video record it or audio record my presentation for the use with that group. If you want to take it further afield, then we probably need to chat about just some licensing, because some of my content has been licensed to other organizations, so happy to have that conversation. But if it’s just for the use of the group, then you are most welcome to video and audio record the session. The other thing– For no additional fee, by the way. As long as, here’s the condition, as long as I get a copy of it as well. Hey, happy because you’ve already paid for the presentation, you paid for me to be there. Why not make sure the message lives on? Thanks very much for watching. Bye now.
So what do you get for your investment? That’s a really great question. Here’s what I can guarantee I’ll do. I’ll customize the presentation. I’ll provide a workbook, either for copying or copy it for you. I’ll do a pre-video to promote your event so your people are suitably engaged, enthused, and energized to come to your event. I’ll do a post video, which is really about recapping on the key information that I’ve provided. I will turn up early. I will be 100% professional and prepared. I’ll be there an hour before the presentation. I will work within your timeframe. If you need me to shave some time off, I’m happy to do that. If you need me to extend the presentation, I’m happy to do that. And I’m happy to hang around and talk to people. I’ll let you record my presentation for the group, and I’ll also make sure I follow up after the event to ensure that you’re happy and provide you with any of my observations or feedback about your group in particular. So that’s what you get when you engage me. That’s what you get for your investment.
